What data do I collect about you, for what purpose and how do I collect it?
If you are a coaching client or potential coaching client, I will collect data about you in the form of your name, email address, Skype name/account, home address and telephone number(s). This data is held within the emails or messages you may send me, the pre-coaching questionnaire you may complete, as well as within my confidential paper notes. I will use the data you provide me to contact you via email, Skype, mail or telephone for the purposes of communicating with you within context of our coaching work together.
When we have an initial conversation to explore working together I will take some handwritten notes. If we decide to do some coaching together, these notes will form part of your confidential records. If you decide you do not wish to proceed with some coaching, I will destroy these notes within 3 days of your decision or 2 weeks from the date of the conversation if I do not hear back from you.
As you interact with this website, it may automatically collect Technical Data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. It collects this personal data by using cookies (more information below) and other similar technologies.
I may also receive data from third parties, such as analytics providers like Google based outside the EU, advertising networks such as Facebook based outside the EU, or providers of Payment services such as Paypal, both based outside the EU.
I do not collect any sensitive data about you. Sensitive data refers to data that includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data. I also do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.
Who with, and why, might I share your personal data?
From time to time, I may have to share your personal data with the parties set out below:
I require all third parties to whom I transfer your data to, to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. I only allow such third parties to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with my instructions.
What do I do with your data and how long do I hold on to it for?
I will only keep hold of your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes I collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
When deciding what the correct time is to keep the data for, I look at its amount, nature and sensitivity, potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the processing purposes, if these can be achieved by other means and legal requirements.
For legal and tax reasons I may keep basic information about my clients (including contact information, financial and transaction data) for up to seven years after they stop being clients.
In some circumstances I may anonymise your personal data for research or statistical purposes in which case I may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

Under data protection laws you have rights in relation to your personal data that include the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, transfer, to object to processing, to portability of data and (where the lawful ground of processing is consent) to withdraw consent.

I may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up my response.
I will do my best to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take me longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, I will notify you.
